Pioneers is an international relationship builder in the technology and startup scene offering events, intelligence, corporate-startup collaboration and investments. Over the last five years we have grown our flagship event, Pioneers Festival, into the leading technology gathering in Europe. Over 10,000 startups, investors and corporates attended our events in 2016, building an incredible community of technology leaders. While supporting startups stays at the core of what we do, we’ve learned how to leverage our network and ship products, so providing valuable insights and opportunities to some of the world’s largest and most profitable corporates and investment funds.
We consult regions and cities across Europe in creating innovation ecosystems and foster collaboration with start-ups. Our products range from innovation reports and ecosystem meet-ups to long-term consulting mandates for governments.
We are a fast growing team of 40 people from 18 nations located in the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria.
A background in business and/or technology, preferably also in creating innovation ecosystems
A passion for innovation ecosystems and the startup world
Exceptional English written and oral communication skills
Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and strong research skills
A high level of independence, a team player attitude and an entrepreneur’s mind
Practical experience in different startup ecosystems across Europe is an asset
An ambition to create lasting impact through your actions and to make the world a better place
Lead innovation ecosystem projects and file full reports for our partners
Research best practice examples of innovation ecosystems
Independently write chapters for ecosystem reports
Improve the assessment model of innovation ecosystems
Get in touch with key stakeholders within a startup ecosystem
Develop our product in a forward-thinking and pro-active way
Optional: Structure and organize an ecosystem meetup to take place at Pioneers Festival
Support the team in ongoing tasks
Full time position based in the heart of Vienna, Austria starting June 2017. Welcoming work environment with a dynamic, highly motivated and international team of 19 nations. Well known brand with a huge network in the startup area. The minimum full time salary for this position is € 25.200,- before tax/year.
